All
in all, the Louvre was a chaotic place -- only half the staff came in,
so they kept shutting off wings and eventually closed an hour early.
However, we were out pretty late as it was, and so maybe that
wasn't such a bad thing. We had a long walk home.

the catacombs, we walked through many parks, culminating in the
Luxembourg Gardens, and finally a macaron shop. Along the
