Pondering the kitten; being monitored by the puppy.  (12/3/24)

Preparing for what will prove to be a transcendent experience.  The Delorian flies right up to us, since we're in the front row.  (12/4/24)

Save the clock tower!  (12/4/24)

Ready to become world travelers.  (12/5/24)

We all got hooked on a Christmas-themed variant of Watermelon Merge in this year's Jacquie Lawson Advent Calendar.  (12/7/24)

Lee's new school has a lot of fun field trips.  (12/11/24)

Another very cool field trip...  (12/13/24)

...to the Historic Carousel and Museum in Albany.  (12/13/24)

We learned about the five generation American dynasty that built carousels and carved animals for them.  (12/13/24)

Then we got to see the carving lab where volunteers learn to carve and the beautiful animals are created, some of them taking more than a decade to make.  (12/13/24)

And possibly another two years to fully paint.  (12/13/24)

The field trip even included a craft, and Lee made a beautiful Christmas ornament.  (12/13/24)

As a fun bonus, this field trip came with a llama to hug.  (12/13/24)

And of course, Lee chose to ride the cat first.  (12/13/24)

Lee caught a brass ring and won a free ride.  Side note:  apparently all the detail in this gryphon's feathers meant it took 14 years to carve.  (12/13/24)

Riding a work of art.  (12/13/24)

Even more field trips!  This time to paint a piece of pottery.  The Junimo proved too challenging, but the Minecraft block turned out beautifully.  (12/16/24)

Painting the back and edges together.  (12/16/24)

Catching up on Lane's advent calendar puzzle.  (12/17/24)

Helping make grandfather soup.  Lee enjoys peeling and slicing vegetables.  (12/17/24)

Showing off their new kitten scarf to an appreciative canine audience.  (12/21/24)

After a bit of work from everyone, our front yard looks like a fairyland again.  (12/21/24)

Lee has gotten quite good at wrapping presents, but the ribbons are still challenging.  (12/22/24)

Kitten antics.  (12/23/24)

After spending the last few weeks wearing roller blades all day, every day inside the house, Lee was a natural on the ice.(12/23/24)

Lane and I struggled a bit more, but then we made friends with a blue baby seal who helped get us out there.  (12/23/24)

Lee and I tried out giving each other rides on the seal.  (12/23/24)

Pondering our plans for graham cracker architecture.  (12/24/24)

Lane's vision proved quite copmlicated to realize; Lee changed plans a few times.  (12/24/24)

Howl's Moving Gingerbread Castle, the House of Broken Gingerbread, and the Farmhouse from Stardew Valley.  (12/24/24)

Reading a special Sheltie version of "Twas' The Night Before Christmas" to Avery.  (12/24/24)

Putting together the minifigs we found in our stockings.  (12/25/24)

Absolute delight over Taylor Swift's Eras Tour book from Grand Janet and some knee-high funny cat socks from Aunt Amalia.  (12/25/24)

Some very big presents.  (12/25/24)

Gearing up.  (12/25/24)

Playing with the new theremin and Technic Lego set.  (12/25/24)

Preparing for demolition.  (12/26/24)

Dinosaurs enter the scene.  (12/26/24)

Now that the ruins of gingerbread are crawling with dinosaurs, Lee returns with an even bigger weapon.  (12/26/24)

Swinging among the stars.  (12/27/24)

Wandering among the icicles.  (12/27/24)

A complete word tour of sparkly lights.  (12/27/24)

Gathering crystallization points as we begin...  (12/29/24)

..our own original tabletop RPG starting at Crossroads Station!  (12/29/24)

Some of us are more excited to be in this situation than others.  (12/31/24)

Cramming in some last minute nose-booping before the year turns.  (12/31/24)
